Privacy Policy

We are SideQuest Studio, the makers of Finger Picker – Team Chooser. This policy explains what information the app collects and why. We keep it to the minimum the app needs.

No account, no name

You never create an account and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts or photos. Where fingers touch the screen is handled on your device only and is never sent to us.

What we collect

  • An anonymous player ID. When you open the app, Firebase Authentication creates a random ID for your device. It is not linked to your name or Apple/Google account. You can see it under Settings → Options.
  • App usage statistics, linked to that ID: the date you first and last opened the app, whether the app is open right now and its language, and how long sessions last (stored only as totals).
  • Purchases: which product you bought (ad-free or the bundle), on which platform and when. We never see or store payment details; payments are handled by Apple or Google.
  • Premium given by us: if we give you premium, we store that with your player ID.

Why we use it

To keep track of how many people play, to see which features work, to unlock purchases and premium on your device, and to keep the app running smoothly. We do not sell this information and do not use it to identify you.

Advertising

The free version shows ads through Google AdMob. Google may use device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), your IP address and general location to show and measure ads. On iPhone, ads are only personalised if you allow tracking. See Google's privacy policy. Buying ad-free removes all ads.

  • Google Firebase (authentication and database, stored in the EU – Belgium)
  • Google AdMob (advertising)
  • Apple App Store and Google Play (purchases)

How long we keep it

We keep the anonymous statistics for as long as the app is offered. You can ask us to delete everything linked to your player ID at any time.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your data and to object to its use. Email us your player ID (Settings → Options) at fingerpickerrigged@gmail.com and we will handle your request within 30 days. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We process the statistics on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and improving the app, purchases to fulfil our agreement with you, and personalised ads only with your consent.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not ask for any personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top always shows the latest version.

Wij zijn SideQuest Studio, de makers van Finger Picker – Team Chooser. Hier lees je welke gegevens de app verzamelt en waarom. We houden het bij het minimum dat de app nodig heeft.

Geen account, geen naam

Je maakt nooit een account aan en we vragen nooit om je naam, e-mailadres, telefoonnummer, contacten of foto's. Waar je vingers het scherm raken, blijft op je toestel en wordt nooit naar ons gestuurd.

Wat we verzamelen

  • Een anoniem speler-ID. Als je de app opent, maakt Firebase Authentication een willekeurig ID voor je toestel. Het is niet gekoppeld aan je naam of je Apple/Google-account. Je ziet het onder Instellingen → Opties.
  • Gebruiksstatistieken, gekoppeld aan dat ID: de datum waarop je de app voor het eerst en het laatst opende, of de app nu open is en in welke taal, en hoe lang sessies duren (alleen opgeslagen als totalen).
  • Aankopen: welk product je kocht (reclamevrij of de bundel), op welk platform en wanneer. Betaalgegevens zien en bewaren we nooit; betalingen lopen via Apple of Google.
  • Premium van ons: als we je premium geven, slaan we dat op bij je speler-ID.

Waarom we dit gebruiken

Om bij te houden hoeveel mensen spelen, te zien welke onderdelen goed werken, aankopen en premium op je toestel vrij te geven en de app goed te laten werken. We verkopen deze gegevens niet en gebruiken ze niet om je te identificeren.

Advertenties

De gratis versie toont advertenties via Google AdMob. Google kan apparaat-ID's (zoals de advertentie-ID), je IP-adres en globale locatie gebruiken om advertenties te tonen en te meten. Op de iPhone zijn advertenties alleen persoonlijk als je tracking toestaat. Zie het privacybeleid van Google. Met reclamevrij verdwijnen alle advertenties.

Hoe lang we het bewaren

We bewaren de anonieme statistieken zolang de app wordt aangeboden. Je kunt ons altijd vragen alles wat bij je speler-ID hoort te verwijderen.

Jouw rechten

Onder de AVG heb je het recht op inzage, correctie en verwijdering van je gegevens en kun je bezwaar maken tegen het gebruik. Mail je speler-ID (Instellingen → Opties) naar fingerpickerrigged@gmail.com; we handelen je verzoek binnen 30 dagen af. Je kunt ook een klacht indienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

We verwerken de statistieken op basis van ons gerechtvaardigd belang om de app te laten werken en te verbeteren, aankopen om onze afspraak met jou na te komen, en persoonlijke advertenties alleen met jouw toestemming.

Kinderen

De app is geschikt voor alle leeftijden en vraagt geen persoonsgegevens. We verzamelen niet bewust persoonsgegevens van kinderen.

Wijzigingen

We kunnen dit beleid aanpassen. De datum bovenaan toont altijd de nieuwste versie.
